The Bear I keep finding these bands with low hits but are phenomenal musicians that wax together jazz, progressive rock into this magical collection. Listen to their intricacy and enjoy massaging sound for the mind. Favorite track: Junk Fish.
Paul Phillips

Paul Phillips Along with the recent ADC album this is some of the best modern fusion (with a bit of Canterbury style) out there. Title track and Afternoon T tick all the boxes for me. Favorite track: Travelogue.
Ludsy

Ludsy The number one "Prog-Fusion album" for me. The sound of all protagonists and their arrangements are outstanding: Bass and drums form a solid foundation for keyboard and guitar, which sometimes lead to musical conversations, while all instruments are nevertheless equally entitled. Not many are able to do this! Favorite track: Silver Bitches.

about

5 stars After a ten year hiatus, HOG is back with music that will cure your ills. Yep, that impressive.

Varied instrumental tunes... rock, funk, electric, jazzy, intense. And if your not careful the calming wind chimes will carry you away... several times.

Sonically this recording is superb. One of the best CD's I've heard in a long time. All instruments sound real. Exciting, balanced well, and the natural decay of the cymbals, mostly missing in modern rock music, is a refreshing sound for sore ears. Bravo! And don't overlook the masterful use of percussion.

"Travelogue", and the following tune, "Afternoon T", deliver the goods and knock me out. Both songs are filled with emotion, light and dark, that will take you on a musical journey that oozes Gnaty passion and musical skills out the yazoo. "American Wood" is also very impressive. How can you not like tasty guitar riffs and a rollin' blues infected groove. Really no dud in the bunch, and ten years later, HOG have not lost the spark. In fact, this could this surpass everything they have done. One of the finest releases of the year. 4.5 rounded u
